To be honest a lot of this stuff is on the home page. Instead here are some things that have happened to me during my ‘career’.

• Geri Halliwell’s tiny dog did a massive fart on my lap in the middle of an interview.

• I smacked my head on the corner of a speaker just before being introduced to Usher at his album playback. There was bleeding.

• While interviewing Little Mix, one of them (Jesy) said love smelt of “cock”.

• I once placed a hand on Rihanna’s shoulder and told her she was amazing as she left Jay-Z’s old nightclub in New York.

• Lil’ Kim hung up on me without saying goodbye after I mentioned Nicki Minaj.

• Comedian Alan Carr once got down on all fours in a swanky hotel so Kylie Minogue could stand on his back and therefore be the same height as me for a photo.

• In fact, Lady Gaga once asked for a chair to be brought over so she could stand on it for a photo with me. Same with Janet Jackson, actually.

• I once had to wait outside a hotel room because the person I was interviewing was doing a very noisy number two.

• Sia once said I had the best speaking voice she’d heard since Lauryn Hill (!).

• I once saw a pop superstar spit lime green snot into a tissue in a hotel in Belfast.
